Imperial Star Destroyer by PedsXing Imperial Star Destroyer by PedsXing
This is a quick&dirty of an imperial star destroyer from Star Wars.
I created this model for the movie "Star Wars: Episode 3.14159265 - The Title of the Movie", which I shot during a project in school.
Although the model was never finished, I used it in the movie ^^ ...
I wont finish it, since this would be too much work.

It has absolutly no textures. These little structures on it's surface were created using the plugin "CityGen" for Cinema 4D.

I think it looks quiet good as long as you do not look to closely ;)

It looks more like a Liberator class star destroyer than an Imperial Class. Regardless, Nice work.

mmmhmm. It's 4x the size, And some later versions of duel bridges like the destroyers in ep 3 had.

two isd variations, the victory class, acclamator, victory, and interdictor class plus all super star destroyers.

I don't think normalmaps would look good.
It would look really strange if you don't look at it from the top and you would loose many details.

yeah. looks totally kool. i'd prefer that model in a space arcade game. its should not produce too much load on the machine.. :)

Hm ... the model has 668113 Polygons.
I think this is too much to use it in a game.
I can send it to you ... you could use it without all these little details on its surface and you could optimize it.

The original model is soooo detailed.
It's really difficult to rebuild it accurately ...
